‘Judge and fury’- how American newspapers reported Donald Trump’s travel ban defeat

Thursday, 2 March 2017

The halt on Donald Trump’s executive order banning people travelling from seven Muslim-majority countries has been upheld by the San Francisco court of appeals.

The court unanimously ruled that there was not enough evidence of threat to national security to justify the ban.

The three judges of the 9th US circuit court said the ban targets Muslims raised “serious allegations” and presented “significant constitutional questions.”
