Visitors to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage were provided the opportunity to feed elephants from Friday (10).
Assistant Director of the Orphanage Mihiran Medawala said the visitors were deprived of this opportunity for two years due to the Covid-19 situation in the country.
Elephants will be allowed to eat fruits daily from 9.15 am to 12.00 noon and will be charged Rs.400 per fruit tray in addition to the ticket price. Elephants bath from 10.15 am to 11.45 am and from 2.15 pm to 3.45 pm.
