32nd Annual Blood Donation program of Shinnyo-en Lanka Preschool: Saving lives by spreading compassion across the nation

Shinnyo-en Lanka Preschool, a prestigious preschool education institution owned and operated
by Shinnyo-en Japan is extremely pleased to announce its upcoming 32nd Annual Blood
Donation drive. The Blood Donation program has continued each year and this year’s event is
set to take place on 15 July 2023 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the National Blood Transfusion
Service (NBTS), Narahenpita.
Since its inception in 1987 by Buddhist Master Shinjo Ito, Shinnyo-en Lanka Free Nursery
School has remained steadfast in its mission to offer a well-rounded preschool education and
holistic learning experience to children aged 3 to 5 years free of charge. The school implements
a unique blend of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) methods and the National
Policy on Preschool Education, ensuring that its young students receive a comprehensive
educational foundation.
Operated and managed by Shinnyo-en Japan, Shinnyo-en Lanka Preschool draws inspiration
from its Buddhist background, which emphasizes the potential for enlightenment within each
