Champions Dialog win Grand Prize to tour UK and witness a live LFC EPL game at Anfield
The Standard Chartered Cup 2023, a 5-a-side Futsal tournament organised by Standard Chartered Sri Lanka, concluded at the Racecourse Grounds, Colombo on Saturday, 8th July.
Competing amongst 11 corporate and business banking teams, Dialog Axiata PLC emerged winners of the prestigious SC Cup 2023 and will enjoy an experience of a lifetime – an all-inclusive paid trip to the UK to witness a live Liverpool FC (LFC) English Premier League (EPL) game at Anfield and a tour of Anfield Stadium, home of the Mighty Reds.
Dialog Axiata PLC emerged as champions following a nail-biting final with John Keells Group who were the defending champions. Both teams scored two goals each during the game, following which, Dialog finally triumphed through penalties (2-1). The Runners-up, JKH, as well as Ebony Holdings (2nd Runners-up) walked away with signed LFC jerseys.
