Jayasuriya charged by ICC, given 14 days to respond

Former captain and former chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya has been charged by the International Cricket Council (ICC) under its Anti-Corruption Code.

An ICC statement said that Jayasuriya was charged under Article 2.4.6 for his failure or refusal, without compelling justification, to cooperate with any investigation carried out by the ACU, including failure to provide accurately and completely any information and/or documentation requested by the ACU as part of such investigation.
