NCC Delegation participates to India Republic Day Camp – 2018

Two Officers and 12 Cadets visited India recently to attend functions connected with Indian Republic Day Parade Celebrations 2018 from courtesy call to India as a part of the Youth Exchange Programme. The Delegation witnessed Indian Republic Day and Army Day Parades. Sri Lanka Cadets also paraded in the Prime Minister’s Rally attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The Sri Lankan Cadet delegation had the privilege to call on the President, Prime Minister, Defence Ministers, Tri-Services Commanders and exchanged views and mementos.

WO II Jayasundara JMTN Maliyadewa BMV – Negambo,

WO II Wijayarathna BS of Visakha College – Colombo,

Sgt Jayawardana PGIK of Rathnawali BMV – Gampaha,

Sgt Dissanayake NPUI of Newstead Girls’ College – Negambo and

Sgt Aththanayake SMSS of Devi Balika Vidyalaya – Colombo.
The delegation visited many places in India and gathered more information about ancient places of India and Indian NCC.
