HNB PLC, the leading private bank in Sri Lanka, has entered into a strategic partnership with United Tractor & Equipment (Pvt) Ltd through the signing of a MoU. The partnership aims to expand access to solar energy solutions for customers in both the domestic and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segments.
The MoU signing was held at the HNB Head Office in the presence of senior representatives from both organizations. Representing HNB were Senior Vice President/ Head of Retail Banking, Kanchana Karunagama; Vice President/ Head of Personal Financial Services, Susith Perera; and Manager – Personal Financial Services, Asitha Fernando. United Tractor & Equipment (Pvt) Ltd was represented by Chief Executive Officer, Deepthi Hewageegana; Chief Financial Officer, Viraj De Silva; Chief Operating Officer, Duminda Perera; and Marketing Manager, Chinthaka Basnayake.

These financing solutions are designed to reduce financial barriers and provide households and businesses with a practical pathway to invest in clean and renewable energy solutions.
The partnership also shows the shared commitment of both organizations towards environmental sustainability and long-term energy security in Sri Lanka.
