Samsung, Sri Lanka’s No. 1 smartphone brand, recently unveiled the winner of
the Members Unpacked event 2022.
Gishan Rivindu, an active level 8 Samsung member and a Samsung student ambassador at the Sri Lanka
Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), secured the chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
smartphone at the Members Unpacked Live event.
“Currently, I am using the Galaxy A50 device as my daily driver, and for entertainment purposes, I am
using a Samsung Level U2 headset. As a student, Galaxy A50 is a perfect device for daily use, and my
most likely features are the Super AMOLED Display and the On-screen fingerprint. Also, Samsung Level
U2 gives an immersive sound experience when listening to music. I’m an Active Level 08 member of the
Samsung Members app and an active Samsung member since 2019. I was engaged by posting about
Software Updates, Photography, and New technology in Samsung Members. It was a huge opportunity
to win a Galaxy Z Fold4 device from a global live event like members unpacked. I never thought I would
win, and also like to thank the Samsung Team for giving me this opportunity,” the winner, Gishan
Rivindu commented.

The event was held on 10th August 2022 through Zoom. There were over 350 participants worldwide,
for which many Sri Lankan Members also had a chance to participate. The event was organised to
reshape customer journeys so that Members can boost brand exposure and authenticity by sharing how
they benefit from the event.
