HNB and Browns Agriculture empower Sri Lanka’s farmers

Following up on recent efforts to support the agricultural sector despite the
challenges they face today, Sri Lanka’s leading private sector bank HNB PLC
partnered with Browns Agriculture, the pioneer of agricultural machinery In Sri Lanka

Lanka in the last couple of years. It has had quite the adverse impact on the industry,

Agriculture to provide farmers with convenient access to leading tractor and

In the current conditions, unexpected breakdowns and repairs can be particularly
challenging for farmers, as they may not have the funds readily available to cover the
costs. Together with HNB, Browns Agriculture is now offering a 2 year (or 2000 hour)
warranty period for the sale of TAFE tractors. In addition, customers who purchase a
tractor under the HNB/Browns leasing promotion will receive 4 labour-free doorstep
services. HNB customers will also receive free registration for all tractors, with the
first year insurance premium waived for specific models. They are also offering a 6
month warranty for specific brands of harvesters, along with 3 labour-free doorstep
services with the purchase of YANMAR and SUMO harvesters.
