HNB strengthens employee wellness: Partners Lanka Hospitals for counselling sessions

Strengthening its commitment to employee health and wellness, Sri Lanka’s leading private sector
bank HNB PLC, partnered with Lanka Hospitals to offer consultations for a host of services at the
hospital’s dedicated centre at One Galle Face Mall.
The facility offers consultations for a wide range of services including counselling, psychology, and
physiotherapy delivered by highly qualified and experienced team of professionals in all three
languages. HNB Assistant General Manager, Digital Business, Chammika Weerasinghe and Lanka
Hospitals Group CEO, Deepthi Lokuarachchi were present at a ceremony organised to
commemorate the partnership.
“We are taking proactive steps to address the health and wellbeing of our employees, especially
given the difficulties and challenges we have faced over the past. We believe that this is a significant
step towards ensuring our employees receive the necessary support they require for a happy life.
We are delighted to partner with Lanka Hospitals to launch this initiative for our employees,”
HNB Assistant General Manager, Digital Business, Chammika Weerasinghe said.
The partnership offers employees the facility to reimburse funds from HNB’s Staff Hospitalization
Entitlement (SHE) for 4 comprehensive consultations and the initial doctor’s fee at the Centre.
Adding their thoughts on the partnership, Lanka Hospitals Group CEO, Deepthi Lokuarachchi said

The counselling services cover a wide range of key areas, including relationships and marital
concerns, financial issues, psychological issues such as sleep disorders, anger management, work-life
balance issues such as parenting, substance abuse, sexual issues and testing, personal development,
and other concerns.
This initiative is the latest in a comprehensive list of programs that HNB carries out to support
