Hayleys Group, has set its sights on expanding its value-added offerings and solidifying its position as
the leading exporter in the industry.
With a string of national recognitions bestowed by major awarding bodies in 2022, Alumex PLC is
well on its way to making a significant impact on the local and global market.
The manufacturer is now launching an exciting new DIY (do-it-yourself) product portfolio for the
local market. Consisting of wide range of products, the new range will cater to the needs of the
residential market segments offering uniquely innovative solutions for their homes.
Following on investments channelled into its state-of-the-art melting plant at Sapugaskanda, Alumex
will continue to drive sustainable innovation in the construction sector with the launch of its ground-
breaking low-carbon aluminium range: ‘Ozon’ and Re_AI.

The manufacturer further strengthened its reputation among industry heavyweights with a Gold
Award and a Top 10 Winners rank at the CNCI Achiever Award 2022, and by topping the
Manufacturing Sector at the National Business Excellence Awards.
Further solidifying its reputation of transparent reporting to its stakeholders, Alumex won
international acclaim with Gold – Manufacturing category for its integrated report, at the CA Sri
Lanka’s TAGS Awards 2022 and the Bronze Award – Best Annual Report at the Asia Integrated
