අද දින (12) සවස් කාලයේ සිට දිවයිනේ නිරිත දිග ප්රදේශවල වැසි තත්වයේ තරමක වැඩි වීමක් අපේක්ෂා කරයි. බස්නාහිර, සබරගමුව සහ වයඹ පළාත්වලත් ගාල්ල, මාතර දිස්ත්රික්කවලත් විටින්විට වැසි හෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි ඇතිවේ. ඇතැම් ස්ථානවල මි.මී. 50ට වැඩි තරමක තද වැසි ඇතිවිය හැක. මධ්යම සහ ඌව පළාත්වලත් අම්පාර සහ මඩකළපුව දිස්ත්රික්කවලත් ප.ව. 1.00 න් පමණ පසුව තැනින් තැන වැසි හෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි ඇති විය හැක. උතුරු, උතුරු මැද, වයඹ සහ දකුණු පළාත්වල විටින් විට හමන පැ.කි.මී. (30-40) ක පමණ තරමක තද සුළං ඇතිවිය හැක. ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි සමග ඇතිවිය හැකි තාවකාලික තද සුළං වලින් සහ අකුණු මඟින් සිදු වන අනතුරු අවම කර ගැනීමට අවශ්ය පියවර ගන්නා ලෙස ජනතාවගෙන් කාරුණිකව ඉල්ලා සිටිනු ලැබේ.
Showery condition is expected to enhance in the Southwestern parts of the country up to some extent from the evening today (12). Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. Fairly heavy showers of above 50 mm are likely at some place. Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Central, and Uva provinces and in Ampara and Batticaloa districts after 1.00 p.m. Fairly strong winds of about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times over Northern, North-central, North-western and Southern provinces. The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
