අද දිනයෙදී:බස්නාහිර, සබරගමුව සහ වයඹ පළාත්වලත් ගාල්ල, මාතර, මහනුවර සහ නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්රික්කවලත් වැසි වාර කිහිපයක් ඇති වේ.
ඌව පළාතේ සහ මඩකළපුව සහ අම්පාර දිස්ත්රික්කවල ස්ථාන ස්වල්පයක පස්වරු 2.00 න් පසුව වැසි හෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි ඇති විය හැක.දිවයිනේ සෙසු ප්රදේශවල ප්රධාන වශයෙන් වියලි කාලගුණික තත්ත්වයක් පවතී.
මධ්යම කඳුකරයේ බටහිර බෑවුම් ප්රදේශවලත් උතුරු සහ උතුරු-මැද පළාත්වලත්, හම්බන්තොට, ත්රිකුණාමලය සහ පුත්තලම දිස්ත්රික්කවලත් විටින් විට හමන පැ.කි.මී. (40-50) ක පමණ තද සුළං ඇතිවිය හැක.
ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි සමග ඇතිවිය හැකි තාවකාලික තද සුළං වලින් සහ අකුණු මඟින් සිදු වන අනතුරු අවම කර ගැනීමට අවශ්ය පියවර ගන්නා ලෙස ජනතාවගෙන් කාරුණිකව ඉල්ලා සිටිනු ලැබේ.

A slight increase in rainfall is expected in the southwestern part of the island over the next few days, starting from Tomorrow (July 28).
For Today:
Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Uva province and in Batticaloa and Ampara districts after 2.00 p.m.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over the other areas of the island.
Strong winds about (40-50) kmph can be expected at times over Western slopes of the Central hills, Northern and North-central provinces and in Hambantota, Trincomalee and Puttalam districts.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
