99x bags multiple honours at National Ingenuity Awards 2021

Sweeps up two national and two provincial awards

Technology company 99x saw its efforts in technological innovation recognised at the recently
concluded National Ingenuity Awards 2021, where it won two National and two Provincial awards for
the cutting-edge digital solutions SuperOffice AI and DevGrade.
SuperOffice AI was first named ‘Best Technology or Framework Innovation’ winner for the Western
Province and then went on to win National runner-up title in the ‘Best Technology or Framework
Innovation’ category. DevGrade similarly was crowned winner in the ‘Best Innovation in Internal
Processes’ category for the Western Province and named National runner-up in the same category.

experienced a total impact of 18.4% of time saved at technical interviews and a 20% conversion rate
from passed to hired within a short time. Readily available code assessment templates, automatic
scheduling, real-world coding experience with a popular IDE are key value-added features of the
solution. Taking the platform to the next level, 99x has onboarded E-learning.lk successfully as a
DevGrade customer.
SuperOffice AI is a collection of AI services offered together with SuperOffice CRM, a longstanding
customer of 99x. It utilises the power of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language
Processing to overcome a couple of problems that arise in the CRM domain, mainly related to customer
query handling. By integrating SuperOffice AI, businesses can cut down costs through process
automation and provide a seamless experience to their customers. Built on Microsoft Azure cloud,
SuperOffice AI guarantees a range of benefits to its clients, including security, availability and compliance.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Association for Software Services Companies (SLASSCOM), the national
chamber for the IT/BPM industry in Sri Lanka, the National Ingenuity Awards 2021 showcased ICT
innovation and excellence from the ‘Island of Ingenuity’. Breathing new life to the ICT/BPM sector, the
awards aim to groom innovators to the national level, especially from the grassroots of society via
separate regional awards.
