CEMS-Global USA’s Sri Lankan edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions kick off at SLECC today

From 29 Feb to 2 March 2024, the entire Textile and Garment Industry of Sri Lanka will once again converge for the Sri Lankan edition of CEMS-Global USA’s Textile Series of Exhibitions – 11th Textech Sri Lanka 2024 International Expo on Textile, Garment Technology and Machinery; 13th Colombo International Yarn & Fabric Show 2024 featuring International Yarn, Fabric, Trims and Accessories Manufacturers and 43rd  Dye+Chem Sri Lanka 2024 International Expo showcasing Dyestuff and Fine & Specialty Chemicals.

An Opening Ceremony was held today at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC) hosted by the Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA & Asia-Pacific Mr. S. S. Sarwar. The Exhibitions were inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the Ceremony Hon Mr. Dilum Amunugama, State Minister of Investment Promotion. Also present at the Opening Ceremony were Dr. Saranga Alahapperuma, Chairman of the Industrial Development Board of Ceylon; Dr. Kingsley Bernard, Chairman & CEO of Sri Lanka Export Development Board; Mr. Saif Jafferjee, Chairman of the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF), and Mr. Indika Liyanahewage, Chairman of Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association (SLAEA)
