SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, signed an agreement recently with Cool Planet (Pvt)
Ltd, one of the Sri Lanka’s leading fashion chains, to power its new unique complex in Nugegoda with
SLT-MOBITEL Fibre.
The agreement was signed by Pushpakumara Samarasinghe, General Manager-Consumer Business
Support, SLT and Rizwi Thaha, Chief Executive Officer, Cool Planet (Pvt) Ltd., recently with
representatives from both organisations present at the event.
The new Nugegoda complex of Cool Planet (Pvt) Ltd., comprising over 51,000 square feet, in 3 floors,
will house a diverse array of products in variety of fashion, accessories, Cosmetics, Stationery and
Homeware evoking the brand’s essence of affordable. The complex is a part of Cool Planet’s integrative
merchandising and innovative strategies to deliver an elevated design and luxurious experience to its
customer base.
SLT-MOBITEL will provide Fibre technology throughout the complex enabling customers to experience
smart building solutions. SLT-MOBITEL Fibre with Ultrafast speeds and connectivity will facilitate a
pleasant shopping experience for customers. The complex can leverage fibre technology to enhance
point of sales, inventory management and communication throughout the store and also to augment
security.
